EPAS
The Educational Planning and Assessment System (EPAS) is a group of tests developed by ACT to assess student preparation for postsecondary education. Minnesota subsidizes the cost for any public school eighth grader taking the EXPLORE and any tenth grader taking the PLAN. The testing window is September 8 through December 31, 2009.
Counselors attending one of the free regional two-day workshops on the use of EXPLORE and PLAN should make sure ACT receives the completed tests by November 6, 2009.
On August 7, 2009 ACT sent a letter to all District Assessment Coordinators with information on how to order these tests. For more information, send an email to mde.testing@state.mn.us.
