DAC CornerAccountability Programs :

District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) are the school district's main contact for the administration of state assessments. The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) provides information and assistance to DACs including testing calendars, newsletters, information about online testing, the Procedures Manual and other policies and procedures, and information to help DACs edit and use test data.

Online Testing
The Science MCA-II and the Mathematics Test for English Language Learners (MTELL) are Minnesota's current computer-delivered assessments that were administered in spring of 2008. Also, the Reading GRAD retests are planned for computer delivery in the fall of 2008. Minimum requirements, software, manuals, training and other resources are available on the Minnesota Online Assessments website hosted by Pearson Educational Measurement. Tutorial:  Importing Assessment Data
The 2008 Universal File Format can automatically import assessment data from the CD to Excel if you enable macros when prompted. If you are not prompted to enable macros, a tutorial that walks you through downloading the data from your CD to Excel is now available on the main Professional Development page.
