Compliance Peers
Compliance Peers are frequently included in the process of collecting compliance data during the course of a site visit. The components of a compliance review or site visit conducted by the Minnesota Department of Education's Compliance & Assistance Division include both qualitative and quantitative collection of findings on special education programs that are then included in the district monitoring report.
Compliance Peers are usually district staff who have participated in Minnesota Department of Education sponsored peer training. A manual and expense form for use by Compliance Peers are available below.
