The goals of the Division of Program Finance are:

1. To enable school districts and charter schools to access the financial resources to which they are entitled by effectively implementing state and federal education funding policy;

2. To facilitate improved financial management of school districts and charter schools by providing management assistance, training and information to school administrators;

3. To make the education finance system more understandable to the public and make school districts and charter schools more accountable by providing clear, useful information and by monitoring compliance with state and federal laws; and

4. To promote the enactment of sound pre-kindergarten through grade 12 education funding policy by providing accurate and timely information and analysis to executive and legislative policymakers.
