Certifying Final Levy

School boards must adopt their final property tax levy no later than four working days after December 20 (December 26 for taxes payable 2009).

The Levy Limitation and Certification report are the forms to be used to report a school district's final certified levy to the county auditor no later than five working days after December 20 (December 29 for taxes payable 2009).  These forms are also used to report a school district's final certified levy to MDE by January 7 of each year.

Levy Limitation and Certification reports are posted to the website.  To access this report for a school district click on Minnesota Funding Reports (MFR) System under Related Links on the left.  Select the first letter of the district's name, select the district, select View Reports by Report Category and then select Levy Limitation and Certification.
