Required District and School Reports
Online Staff Development Reporting Site is open for 2007-08 data entry.
School districts are required to report the staff development activities and expenditures for both their districts and school sites. School districts using state staff development revenue under M.S. § 126C.10, subd. 2 and M.S. § 122A.61 must use the state’s designated reporting format to submit a copy of their annual staff development report to the Commissioner of Education. All districts, including those not reserving funds, must complete a program report. Each district has a designated staff member assigned to complete this report. Log in to the Online Staff Development Report .
Districts electing to waive or reduce the set aside amount, must complete and submit the 2 percent Set Aside Waiver Form. Download the waiver form for School Year 2007-08 and/or the Waiver form for 2008-09.

2007-2008 Annual Public Report on Curriculum, Instruction and Student Achievement
The mission statement of public education in Minnesota (Minn. Stat. § 120A.03), a system for lifelong learning, is to ensure individual academic achievement, an informed citizenry, and a highly productive work force. Districts are responsible for creating an identifiable process for continuous improvement and annual reporting to the public. Information and assistance regarding district and school level processes are available from the Division of Academic Standards and High School Improvement.
The 2007 legislative session produced no changes in statute or rule regarding a district’s Annual Public Report on Curriculum, Instruction and Student Achievement. The 2007-2008 Reporting Checklist will be available by June 16, 2008, to assist district personnel through the process and reporting requirements. See the Annual Public Report link at right for more information.
