School Improvement Plans
The School Improvement Division provides resources to guide schools and districts through a successful process for developing and implementing a school improvement plan. School improvement planning centers around four main objectives:
1. Understanding Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)
2. Conducting a comprehensive needs assessment using school data to identify teaching and learning needs
3. Aligning the needs assessment to strategies for improving student achievement
4. Providing professional development to support student achievement goals
