Statewide System of Support
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) has developed and implemented a regional education service delivery model, Statewide System of Support (SSOS), to provide technical assistance and program support to schools throughout the state. Regional service providers (AYP Coordinators) are teachers and administrators providing technical assistance and professional development to schools and/or districts in the planning and implementation of quality school improvement.
MDE directly supports the Minneapolis and St. Paul districts with a model of support similar to SSOS.
