School Improvement
The School Improvement Division was established to assist educators to improve student achievement by providing professional development and program support. The division supports the continuous improvement efforts of Minnesota’s schools and districts through its work with teacher induction, Q Comp, program evaluation, technology in the schools, and the statewide system of support for schools and districts not meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Information regarding the identification of schools and districts not meeting AYP can be obtained from the Minnesota Department of Education, No Child Left Behind (NCLB) section link. Visit the NCLB section of our site .
