The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) provides questionnaires in 11 languages to participants in Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and School Readiness programs. The program participant data collected is demographic data aggregated at the school district level and then submitted to MDE. The purpose of this data is to provide information about the general characteristics of children participating in the ECFE and School Readiness programs. ECFE and School Readiness program coordinators are provided with instructions for collecting and submitting the program participant data. All data must be submitted electronically to MDE by August 15th through the Early Learning Services Data System for FY 2008 (school year 2007-2008).

Beginning in FY 2009 (school year 2008-2009), these Participant Questionnaires must be submitted electronically to MDE by July 15, 2009 as required by 2007 legislation.

Early Childhood Family Education and School Readiness Coordinators must submit aggregate Participant Questionniare Summary Data through the Early Learning Services Data System under the MDE "Data" -> "Data Submisions" tab above.
