AYP Statewide System of Support
The Division of School Support of the Minnesota Department of Education provides a Statewide System of Support (SSOS) that offers technical assistance and program support to Title I schools and districts not making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Assistance may take the form of consultation on improvement plan development, training and coaching pertaining to the elements of school or district improvement plans and the research-based strategies and activities available to increase student achievement.

A school must develop a two-year improvement plan to address teaching and learning needs that caused it to be identified in the core academic subjects of math and reading. -
