To use this calculator, sponsors will enter their estimated entitlement in the box in the top left corner. Estimated entitlement can be found on the sponsor’s profile page in the Cyber-Linked Interactive Child Nutrition System (CLiCS 1).
Sponsors will then enter the desired number of cases of U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foods in the corresponding month.
The total amount of entitlement used and the estimated entitlement remaining is calculated at the top of the page. The desired number of cases and total cost of the specific USDA Food is calculated on the right side of the page. The total number of cases desired for delivery each month is calculated at the bottom of the page.
This calculator should be used as a planning tool. Sponsors will still need to survey for USDA Foods in CLiCS 1.
U.S. Senate Youth Applications Due Oct. 24
Minnesota 11th- or 12th-grade students who hold an elected office in student government or civic or community organization during the 2014-15 school year are eligible to apply for the U.S. Senate Youth Program. Established in 1962, the program offers a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service. Two selected student leaders from each state, District of Columbia and the Dept. of Defense Education Activity will spend a week in Washington, March 7-14, 2015, experiencing their national government in action.
