MARSS Reporting Instructions
The Minnesota Automated Reporting Student System (MARSS) Manual provides definitions and parameters of all the MARSS data elements, reporting procedures for a variety of situations and appendices that describe related student accounting issues to help school staff report accurate and consistent student data.
The data are reported electronically via a web-based system called the MARSS Web Edit System (WES). Data files are thoroughly edited and several local and statewide reports are made available to a district-designated employee in a secure environment. These reports are described in the MARSS WES documentation.
