Guidelines for Fee Payment
• Payment for the appropriate fee(s) must accompany the submitted portfolio and a completed “Submission and Payment Record” form.
• A check or money order must be payable to “Commissioner of MDE.”
• Portfolio(s) will not be sent out for review until the check has cleared.
• A candidate who submits a check that does not clear will be notified. A second check from the same candidate will not be accepted; only a money order will be accepted. If the candidate chooses not to submit a money order, it is the responsibility of the candidate to pick up the portfolio(s) submitted.
• A candidate may charge the fee(s) to a Visa or MasterCard only if he/she submits the the portfolio(s) in person during the Educator Licensing hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00-4:20).
• Fee(s) will be deposited within 24 hours of receipt.
