Renewal Information
Anyone who substitutes or holds a part- or full-time teaching position in a Minnesota public school must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license. The information provided below regarding how to renew a license is for individuals who have held or currently hold a Minnesota license.
To obtain an application packet by mail, e-mail us at: mde.educator-licensing@state.mn.us. Packets are mailed on the same day the request is received. Please allow 5-7 days for shipping.
