Schools and districts implementing Q Comp will receive an annual Program Review that begins with a Document Review and will include Peer Review site visits. This review is a formative evaluation process and is not linked to compliance or to continued funding.

Peer Reviewers Needed
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is inviting interested individuals to serve as Peer Reviewers for the 2007-08 Program Review cycle. The Q Comp Program Review process provides districts with peer feedback that will allow their programs to grow and improve while also allowing MDE to maintain a consistent and effective process that provides accurate information about what is happening in each of the participating districts. Each reviewer will receive compensation for time and certain associated costs.

If you are interested, please complete and return the Peer Reviewer Interest Form (which includes the Peer Reviewer job description). Forms should be returned to Chelsea Goebel at chelsea.goebel@state.mn.us no later than Friday, December 21, 2007.
