2008 Q Comp Conference

The Q Comp Conference resulted in positive feedback and a valuable exchange of ideas. Electronic files of the presentation materials are available by request. Please limit requests to one per district.

The Conference will be an annual event designed for schools considering Q Comp as well as schools in the implementation phase. Participants will gain the ideas and strategies to effectively move through the planning and implementation process. Schools currently implementing Q Comp will learn how to use best practices when administering the program. Conference speakers and breakout sessions will cover essential topics, including application, implementation and administration, by highlighting best practices of the Q Comp program.

Q Comp has the potential to transform the teacher profession in a manner that increases teacher effectiveness to raise student achievement. This statewide conference is a collaboration between the Minnesota Department of Education and staff from current Q Comp schools.
