Q Comp Program Implementation

Q Comp Program Implementation

Q Comp implementation occurs when schools and districts with an approved Q Comp program begin to enact the provisions of their program. Teachers assume the additional leadership roles they’ve agreed to perform (mentor teacher, curriculum program leader, instructional coach, etc); teacher professional development begins and teacher evaluations are set. The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) conducts regional workshops to assist Q Comp participants to make their programs successful. Also, participants are offered feedback by other districts and MDE through the Program Review process. A school or district may use this feedback when they use the forms below to submit an annual report or make program changes and updates in accordance with the legislation.
