Approval Process
The Q Comp application form and rubric have been designed to allow the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) to maintain a consistent and effective review process. Every application is reviewed by a group of readers with experience in the Q Comp application process. The readers recommend to the Commissioner that the application be approved or be resubmitted with revisions.

Once an application is approved by the Commissioner, a letter summarizing the plan is sent to the district. Copies of all of the approval letters are available using the links to the right.
