Q Comp Application Process
Application for Districts or Schools
Districts or schools interested in implementing the Q Comp model must complete the full application. When completing your application, please follow the application directions provided in the Q Comp Guidelines and the Q Comp Rubric. The more closely the directions are followed, the more likely an application will be approved. Click on the Application Approval Resources link on the right for more information on getting the application approved.
Letter of Intent
Under Minn. Stat. 122A.414 1a., Charter schools, school districts or schools interested in a planning year, should complete the formal Letter of Intent and set aside up to two percent of basic revenue for developing the Q Comp program. Filing this letter will allow MDE to provide better assistance and support to all interested districts.
