Commissioners, Students Team Up to Test Their Knowledge

Six state commissioners will pair with six youth to compete in the Back to School Academic Olympics at this year’s State Fair

ROSEVILLE – As the new school year inches closer, the Minnesota Department of Education will test knowledge of six state commissioners and six middle school students in the first ever Back to School Academic Olympics at this year’s State Fair. Competing in teams of two – one commissioner and one youth – Emcee Jason DeRusha of WCCO will ask academic based questions until only one team is left standing.
