On Monday, August 27th, six state commissioners will pair with six youth to compete in the Back-to-School Academic Olympics at this year’s State Fair. See the August 22 press release.
Stop by and visit us if you’re at the Fair! Children who listen to a story or take time to color a picture and share the title of a favorite book are invited to pose for a picture with Minnesota's official reading and literacy mascot, Read-It. Peer Support Initiative Curriculum is available now! The curriculum is a set of 6 lessons that school counselors can implement in a small group setting to help children of military families learn to deal with stress, coping, communication, changing family roles, and fostering resilience.
