Assessment Advisory Groups
A variety of groups and organizations advise the Minnesota assessment program. Each of them serves a specific role and their combined efforts contribute significantly to the program’s success. A complete list of all of the advisory groups and organizations is available below.
Qualified teachers and community members serve on Assessment Advisory Panels. About a half-dozen panels are involved in the development of each test administered to Minnesota students. If you are a teacher and want to serve on an advisory panel, click on “Register for Panels” for additional information, including details on how to sign up for the Advisory Panel Register.
The National Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) provides advanced technical guidance on many aspects of the assessment program. Member bios and meeting minutes are available by clicking the links within this section.
