Online Initiative
The Science Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment-Series II (MCA-II) and the Mathematics Test for English Language Learners (MTELL) are Minnesota's current computer-delivered assessments. Also, retests of the Graduation-Required Assessments for Diploma (GRAD) will be delivered by computer beginning in Fall 2008. Accommodated paper forms will be available only for those students who are blind or visually impaired. General education students will take the online version of these assessments.
The Minnesota Online Assessments Website hosted by Pearson Educational Measurement, contains software, manuals, minimum requirements, training and other resources related to online testing. The link can be found under Related Links.
Online Discussion Forum for Technology Staff: A discussion forum is available for technology staff to collaborate on implementing online testing in Minnesota schools.
