Crisis Management
Pursuant to Minnesota statutes section 121A.035 each school district must adopt a district crisis management policy. The policy sets out individual district plans to respond to potential crisis situations such as, natural disasters, hazardous materials, weapons in schools, etc. The policy should include contact persons and their contact numbers, and be reviewed by school personnel in each building. The 2006 Crisis Management Policy below, is a downloadable document that districts may use as a guide when developing and updating their plan.
