Board Rules and Resolutions
Minnesota Board of Teaching's mission is to ensure a quality licensing system for Minnesota public schools. The Board enforces the Code of Ethics For Minnesota Teachers, which sets forth standards of professional conduct and procedures for implementation. Standards of professional conduct refers to teachers' work in the classroom and their relationships with students and colleagues. Minnesota Statutes 122A authorizes the Board to create rules (Board Rules 8700 and Board Rules 8710).
